The Polish premiere of a play based on music by Astor Piazzolla – brilliant Argentinean composer and legendary master of tango, whose compositions (including a famous Libertango) have recently enjoyed worldwide renown. Tango Piazzolla is a result of author’s longtime fascination with works of Piazzolla – it renders the atmosphere of
Argentinean bar – one of those typical places where people come only to dance with each other. It is precisely here, where, according to tango philosophy followers – all emotions arise and die and just like in the incredible dance closeness and loneliness, tenderness and infidelity, love and death meet. The play’s main character – a young Polish country girl who dreams about better life makes our magical encounter with the tango spirit possible. A mysterious space will drag us into a procession twists and turns of the characters’ love life, who always love stronger than they are loved and fail to meet their loved ones. Excellent live music performed by Tango Bridge band conducted by Grzegorz Frankowski, including the most beautiful Piazzolla’s hits and passionate tango which will transfer us to the world of senses and desires.
